Radio, Television and Cable
Our Mission is to build community through media, enhance democratic communication, and facilitate free expression by providing our five towns with a state-of-the-art media resource center.
CapeNet is building the OpenCape Network, a federally funded, 350-mile all-fiber optic network in southeastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod and the Islands. We're bringing affordable, fully-redundant, world-class voice and data services to the region with many more choices than are available for businesses today. Now, businesses of all sizes on Cape Cod and southeastern Massachusetts can have access to affordable, world-class, high-speed broadband voice and data services, including: Internet Access, Point-to-Point (high-speed connections between facilities), VoIP and Disaster recovery and backup. Construction is targeted for completion in the first quarter of 2013.
The Cape's only locally owned radio group with PIXY 103, Frank-FM, Y101 , and Koffee FM. CodComm also operates CapeCodRadio.com, with weather, traffic, tides, and local news, plus streaming of all four stations. Pixy 103 features classic rock superstars. Frank-FM (93.5. 93.9, & 107.9) features the live Frank Morning Show along with favorites from the 80s, 90's and today. Y-101, The Beat of Cape Cod plays today's biggest hits and the nationally acclaimed Elvis Duran Morning Show. Koffee-FM (98.7 & 100.5) is the hugely popular Classic Cape style format, with nostalgia from the 50s, 60s & 70s.
